Context
Designed during a high-stakes, 4-day design challenge for WeaveGrid, a San Francisco-based startup. The project focused on "Charge Valet," a new web app feature providing on-demand mobile charging for e-bike and EV commuters in downtown SF.
Problem
Downtown commuters face significant "range anxiety," often arriving at work with low battery and no accessible charging infrastructure to ensure they can return home. The challenge was to design a seamless UX that allows busy professionals to schedule "charge assistance" through a predictive valet system, ensuring their vehicles are fully charged and ready for departure by the end of the workday.
Solution
I designed the Charge Valet concept experience, centering the UI on a predictive scheduling engine. Key features included real-time location tagging for mobile charging units, automated "Power-up" notifications based on the user's departure time, and a transparent pricing model. The UX prioritized speed and reliability, allowing a user to book a valet charge in under three taps while providing live status updates to build trust in the mobile service.

Impact
The project was highly successful, resulting in a full-time offer from WeaveGrid. It was praised for its technical feasibility and for turning a complex logistics problem into an intuitive consumer-facing feature within an aggressive 4-day timeframe.
